Abstract

1359084 Electro-plating jigs for soldering bits D Q ENG CO Ltd 29 Sept 1972 [30 March 1972] 14919/72 Heading C7B [Also in Division B3] Copper and copper alloy soldering bits having an axially extending bore are electro-plated, e.g. with iron, iron alloy, steel, nickel, cobalt or chromium, with the bore of the bit located on an upwardly extending branch 3 of a cathode tree 1. The branches 3 may be formed by a single pin or by a fork according to the bore diameter involved. The jig shown comprises a brass stem 2 coated with plastics material 4, e.g. PVC, stainless steel forks 3, and a hook 10 for mounting on a supporting rail.
