Abstract

1358993 Roll holders ENGINEERING & GLASSFIBRE DEVELOPMENTS Ltd 17 Jan 1972 [25 Jan 1971] 3050/71 Heading A4G [Also in Division D1] A cylindrical package cover 11, Fig.1, has a conical top 12 in which is a ceramic bush 15 through which the filamentary material of the package can be withdrawn. The cover 11 may have outwardly extending generally V-sectioned ribs 21 within which are brushes that press against the enclosed package to prevent overrunning of the filamentary material. The lower end of the cylindrical portion 11 has an outwardly directed rim 26 with keyhole apertures 27, 28 through which screws may pass to secure the cover to a base. The bush 15, Fig.3, may have an annular groove 17 into which the frusto-conical top 12 may be integrally moulded. The cover 10 may be of glass-reinforced synthetic material and may have inspection openings in it.
