Abstract

1356740 Friction clutches DR ING hcF PORSCHE AG 7 April 1972 [17 May 1971] 16225/72 Heading F2C In a friction clutch for a motor vehicle wherein driven discs 13, 11 are clamped between a flywheel 2, intermediate plate 12 and presser plate 10 by a diaphragm spring 8 which reacts on a clutch cover 1 fast with the flywheel 2, the presser plate 10 and intermediate plate 12 are connected to the clutch cover by pins 15 rotatably mounted in bores 20 in the flywheel 2 and clutch cover 1 and having guide surfaces 18 engaging slots 17 in radial lugs 16 projecting from the intermediate and presser plates. Axial webs 22 space the clutch cover 1 from the flywheel 2 and a lip 23 centres the clutch cover on the flywheel. Spaces between the webs 22 facilitate the flow of cooling air through the clutch.
