Abstract

1354613 Centrifugal fans SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN AB 25 May 1971 [29 May 1970] 16997/71 Heading F1C A fan assembly suitable for an air conditioning installation, comprises a fan 2 supporting a motor 4 driving the fan through a belt transmission 5, 10, 11, and a supporting frame 1 so designed that the assembly can be selectively rested with the fanoutlet 9 directed horizontally as shown, or vertically upwards or downwards. The motor may be directly mounted to a plane portion of the fan housing, but in Fig. 2 it is indirectly mounted to a plane portion via a slide 4b and carrier 4d, the slide being movable by screws 4c to adjust the tension in belts 5. The dimension 'L' oftheframework corresponds to the dimension of the fan housing measured in the same direction as dimension 'L'.
