Abstract
1353639 Toy vehicle propulsion units GEORG BRANDSTATTER 12 July 1971 [11 July 1970] 32654/71 Heading A6S A toy vehicle, e.g. an aircraft or boat 2, is formed with a through-passage 4 in which a housing 9, containing a battery 10 and an electric motor 8, is releasably fastened. The housing is formed with a flange 16, which rests on a shoulder at the bottom of the passage 4, and fins 33, which centralise the housing within the aperture and engage shoulders 5. A lid 18 is securable to the housing by bayonet catch formations and bears with its flange 19 on the hull 1 when fitted. Leaf springs 13, 14 connect the battery to the motor, a switch being interposed between spring 14 and the upper battery terminal 29. The switch comprises a knob 23 which may be rotated to rotate a spring 28, which contacts terminal 29. Upon rotation, a radially-extending end of the spring contacts leaf spring 14. The bottom of the boat is formed with a longitudinally extending trough-like depression.
