Abstract

1353208 Masts and spars IAN PROCTOR METAL MASTS Ltd 21 July 1972 [23 July 1971] 34707/71 Heading B7V In a mast or spar 1 having a watertight chamber 5 for through passage of running lines such as 3, resilient watertight grommets such as 7 are provided in apertures such as 6 to embrace the lines, thus permitting passage of the lines into and out of the watertight chamber. In the embodiment shown the grommet is slit at 7a from its perimeter towards its centre so that the line may be entered through the slit.
