Abstract

1351645 Pallets NOSSENT & CO NV 22 June 1971 [22 June 1970] 29310/71 Heading B8H A pallet comprises a floor plate 7 which extends between two elongated longitudinal channel-shaped sections 2 which are secured in spaced-apart relationship by two transverse elongated sections 3 (only one shown) secured to the underside of, and extending beyond, the sections 2, an attachment member 5 which has an eye 6 for attachment to the hooks of a hoisting device being secured to each of the end portions of each of the sections 3 and to the adjacent outside surface of the adjacent section 2, said attachment members 5 which are secured to the same section 2 being disposed such that the angles (α), Fig. 2 (not shown), between the facing sides of the said attachment members and the plane of the floor plate 7 do not exceed 90 degrees. The space between the floor plate 7 and the top flange of each channelshaped section 2 is filled by a beam 8 which, together with the floor plate 7 may be manufactured from wood.
