1351418 Grills MOULINEX S A 26 Sept 1972 [8 Oct 1971] 44489/72 Heading A4D [Also in Divisions F4 and H5] A grill having laterally open sides comprises an electric resistance heating element 10 arranged in a substantially vertical plane, and supports 20, 22 having a plurality of notches 28 for receiving the supporting bars 30 of food holders 12, 14 so that the food holders may be supported at varying distances from the heating element. Each food holder comprises two grids hinged together along their lower parts and held together by a lock formed at the upper end of a vertical handle 32. The supports 20, 22 are carried by the cross-members 34 of two frames 38, 40 assembled along the plane of the heating element. The end portions 50 of the supporting bars 30 are out-turned to rest on the crossmembers 34. The internal surfaces of the frames 38, 40 consist of metal plates, e.g. the plate 52 covered with a self-cleaning product having a catalytic action. The frames are filled with a thermal insulating material. The heating element 10 is a sinuous metal-sheathed element and is removably mounted on a base 36 by two spaced terminals (60), Fig. 6 (not shown) (see Division H5). A tray 70 for recovering fat is covered by a removable lid 72 which has a central depression 74 and is pierced by holes 76. The lid 72 has two vertically-depending opposite sides inturned to provide flanges 80 engageable with the upstanding sides of the tray. The tray is provided with a removable handle (78), Fig. 7 (not shown).
