Abstract
1350761 Gloves G J SOLOMON 27 April 1971 [27 Jan 1970] 3768/70 Heading A3V In a glove at least the front parts of the fingers and thumb (i.e. those parts intended to lie on the palm side of a wearer's hand in use) and the palm are made of a flexible stretch towelling material. The back of the glove may also be made of this material, but may alternatively be made of a plastics material, e.g. polyvinylchloride, and holes for ventilation may be provided in the plastics material and in any other part of the glove. In order that any slack appearing in the palm of the glove in use can be taken up, the back of the glove may be provided with one or more strips of elastic material associated with one or more press studs. An extra thickness of material in the form of a pad or pads of felt-like absorbent material may be provided on the front parts of the fingers and thumb and diagonally across the palm of the glove.
