Abstract

1350281 Vehicles DRINKWATER (SERVICES) Ltd and H G UTTRIDGE 16 Nov 1971 [5 March 1971] 6080/71 Heading B7B A vehicle for supporting a tipping bin of the type having fulcrum pins 13 on two separate, parallel axes comprises a pair of pin supporting recesses 14 and a cover slide 17 slidable over the recesses 14 along chassis cross-bar 16. When cover slide 17 is centrally positioned (as shown) the ends of the slide cover both recesses so that the bin cannot be tipped, but if the slide is moved left, say, the right-hand recess is uncovered and the bin may be tipped to the left. Latches 22 are provided to prevent the covered recess being uncovered during tipping. Foot pedals 26 may operate slide 17.
