Abstract

1349332 Portable containers; packages; boxes FIRST DYNAMICS Inc 4 Jan 1973 584/73 Headings B8D B8C and B8P An implement, such as a straw, a pair of chopsticks, fork, or spoon 16, is releasably suspended by one or more looped strips 17 from the underside of a cover 13 adapted to be sealed to the flange 12 of a container body 10 so as to leave an unadhered tip 14 by which the cover may be removed in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the implement to prevent the implement being tilted into the container body. The container is of rectangular or circular section, Fig. 5 (not shown), and the implement extends along a diagonal or diameter. The container body is fluted at 15, and the container body, cover, and strips may be of plas tics, the cover being heat-sealed to the flange. In modifications, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown) the strip is of increased width or replaced by a pair of strips.
