1349140 Quinazolinones SANDOZ Ltd 2 Dec 1970 [5 Dec 1969 26 Aug 1970] 34910/73 Divided out of 1349136 Heading C2C Novel compounds of Formula I (in which each of Y, Y 1 and Y 2 is C 1-3 alkoxy) are prepared by condensing a compound of Formula II with formamide. Compounds of formula II are prepared by reduction of corresponding nitro compounds.
