Abstract

1348477 Colour television A P PEDRICK 6 Feb 1973 5753/73 Heading H4F A colour television receiver uses N.T.S.C. (PAL) transmission chrominance signals to vary the magnitude of the electric current passing through red, green and blue light bulbs, the rays from which are formed into a single combined pencil of light by reflecting the red and blue rays off plates of dichroic glass, the pencil of light being scanned, e.g. by magnetically moved mirrors, to produce an image on a screen, the luminance signal of the transmission being used to vary the brightness of all three bulbs.
