Abstract

1346684 Floating metal-scrap-handling plant KLOCKNER-WERKE AG 20 May 1971 [26 May 1970] 16163/71 Heading B3H [Also in Divisions B7 and C7] In a system for the production of usable metallic scrap the bulk supply of scrap is collected at stations situated on navigable waterways. The metallic scrap material at the individual collecting stations is treated by a preparation plant carried by a floating hull whilst the hull is lying at the scrap collecting station. In the embodiment shown the equipment on the hull includes compressor 3, hammer mill 5, magnetic separators 12 and dust removers 19, 20.
