Abstract
1346519 Pressure gauge HEINEKEN BROUWERIJEN NV 3 Feb 1972 5089/72 Heading G1L In a pressure gauge, such as for gauging the equilibrium pressure of carbon dioxide dissolved in a liquid the gauge housing contains a further reference liquid from which the vapours subject the outer side of a Bourdon tube 3 to a reference pressure substantially equal to Al carbon dioxide pressure in the liquid and at the same temperature. The reference liquid 9 may be n-butane or dimethylamine. The base 10 of the housing 2 may be ribbed to promote heat exchange with the liquid the carbon dioxide content of which into be measured. In an alternative embodiment, Fig.3, (not shown), the reference liquid is in a container immersed in the liquid the carbon dioxide content of which is to be measured. The gauge dial may be graduated in weight percentage of dissolved carbon dioxide.
