Abstract

1346333 Transistor switching circuits SCHUBERT & SALZER MASCHINENFABRIK AG 3 Nov 1971 [28 Nov 1970] 51080/71 Heading H3T [Also in Division D1] In a control circuit, Fig. 1, for textile machinery opening of switch 11<SP>1</SP> (responsive to yarn tension variations) firstly causes SCR 4, Fig. 3, to be fired by T70 when the latter conducts in response to the charging current of C24, and also causes SCR 51 to be fired by T34 after a delay determined by C37, R33. Two further SCR's 41<SP>1</SP>, 51<SP>1</SP> are then sequentially fired by similar control transistor circuits T70<SP>1</SP>, T34<SP>1</SP> which are driven from a Zener diode in T34 emitter circuit. In another embodiment, Fig. 2, separate but ganged switches 11, 12 operate respective SCR's 40, 50 via respectively a Schmidt trigger T70, T71, and a longer time delay circuit C37, R33.
