1345482 Pantographs V H VOTH [trading as TEXOGRAPHY-VERTRIEB VOLKMAR H VOTH KG] 16 March 1972 [17 March 1971] 12295/72 Heading B6P [Also in Divisions A3, G1 and G2] An apparatus for drawing and measuring the area of scaled down patterns for use in the clothing industry comprises a pantograph rod system having a fixed point 3 on a work-table 1, a tracing stylus on one arm 5 of the pantograph system used by an operator 4 to trace an original pattern, a follower stylus 6 for drawing or directly cutting out a scaled-down pattern on laminar material, e.g. plastics film, and a planimeter 7 on the pantograph system for simultaneously measuring the area of the scaled down pattern. The position of the follower stylus 6 is variable to give varied scales.
