Abstract
1345302 Electric watches DAINI SEIKOSHA K K 11 April 1972 [12 April 1971] 16654/72 Heading G3T In an electromagnetically driven oscillator assembly for a timepiece including an oscillator with a plurality of spaced, permanent magnets, a plurality of fixed coils are provided adjacent corresponding magnets, the coils being connected in series to a maintaining circuit and each acting as both a detecting and a driving coil. Fig. 1 shows a balance comprising wheels 10, 11 fixed on a shaft 9 and carrying pairs of aligned magnets 12, 13 and 14, 15. The magnet pairs cooperate with coils 16, 17 which are connected in series to an astable multi-vibrator circuit 18 powered by a cell 19. Three or four coils may be provided, with a similar number of magnets on each wheel of the balance, Figs. 2 and 3, (not shown). The oscillator may alternatively be a tuning fork (40), Fig. 4, (not shown), or an H-shaped vibrator Figs. 5 and 6, (not shown).
