Abstract
1342140 Colouring PVC CIBA-GEIGY AG 2 Dec 1971 [2 Dec 1970] 56103/71 Heading C3P [Also in Divisions C4-C5] Polyvinyl chloride films are coloured in yellow shades by incorporating therein disazo pigments of formula wherein A and B are anylene radicals, R 1 is an alkoxyalkyl, alkyl, phenoxyalkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl radical, X is a S or O atom and R 2 is the group XR 1 or a Cl atom with the proviso that R 2 does not represent XR 1 when it is OCH 3 (see Divisions C4-C5). In Example 3 a pigment as above, polyvinyl chloride and dioctyl phthalate are mixed and rolled to give a yellow foil.
