Abstract

1,235,022. Preparing cyclophosphamide. LAAKE OY. 4 June, 1969, No. 28188/69. Heading C2C. Cyclophosphamide of the formula is obtained by reacting one mole of a compound of the formula with one mole of a compound of the formula in an inert solvent, e.g. methylene chloride, in the presence of substantially 2 moles of triethylamine as acid binding agent, removing the formed triethylamine hydrochloride and the solvent and then adding an excess of water to form the monohydrate.
