[Also in Divisions C4 and C5] A liquid composition for coating a cooking surface to give it non-stick properties comprises cottonseed oil, and at least 10% by wt. of a mixture of lecithin and solid vegetable fat, said mixture containing at least 10% solid vegetable fat and at least 40% lecithin. The composition may be applied to the cooking surface such as metal by spraying preferably in the form of an aerosol composition containing 75% or more propellant such as CFCP 3 or CF 2 Cl 2 .
