Abstract
1,231,375. Seed sowing implement. NODET - GOUGIS. 8 Sept., 1969 [23 Sept., 1968], No. 44216/69. Heading A1D. A seed sowing implement comprises a frame, a seed hopper, seed supply lines 20, drill opening blades 18 each associated with a supply line and each carried by a bar 17 which at one end is supported on a roller 19, links 13 to which the other end of the bar is pivotally attached, arms 11 pivoting on said links about a first shaft 12, the arms supporting a second shaft 8 and ground clearing rotors 1, one to each blade 18, mounted on a second shaft 8. The rotors 1 are mounted on the square crosssectioned shaft 8 between tubular spacers and their relative positions on the shaft are adjustable. The height of the axis of the ground clearing rotors is adjustable independently of the heights of the blades 18 and roller 19. The power take off shaft of a tractor is attached at 5 and drives the rotors through gearing 4. The position of the blades 18 and roller 19 on the bar 17 are adjustable. (For Figure see next page.)
