[Also in Division C5] The olefine reaction is carried out in the presence of a disproportionation catalyst comprising silica or thoria promoted by an oxide or sulphide of molybdenum or tungsten or an oxide of rhenium or tellurium OR alumina promoted by an oxide or sulphide or hexacarbonyl of molybdenum or tungsten or rhenium oxide or an alkali or alkaline earth metal, ammonium or bismuth phosphomolybdate OR aluminium, calcium, zirconium, magnesium or titanium phosphate promoted by an oxide or sulphide or hexacarbonyl of molybdenum or tungsten or rhenium oxide or magnesium tungstate or beryllium phospho tungstate OR silica promoted by molybdenum or tungsten hexacarbonyl and an isomerisation catalyst comprising magnesium oxide, phosphoric acid, bauxite or cobalt, iron or manganese oxides on alumina.
