Abstract
1,228,123. Metallic reinforcements. BAUSTAHLGEWEBE G.m.b.H. 7 March, 1969 [17 April, 1968], No. 12323/69. Heading D1K. Spacers 5 are welded or otherwise secured to the reinforcement mat to retain the mat in a relative position within the material to be reinforced. The spacers comprise U-shaped rods welded or otherwise attached to the longitudinal or transverse rods of the mat so that the projecting shanks serve to space the mat from the usual shuttering. The spacers may bridge parallel rods of the mat or the mid portion can be depressed so as to enable the spacers to be secured to the mat at the crossover position of the rods, Fig. 3, not shown.
