Abstract

1,222,766. Vehicle headlamp. PROJECTEURS CIBIE. 31 Oct., 1969 [27 Nov., 1968], No. 53461/69. Heading F4R. A vehicle headlamp comprising a lens G, a parabaloid reflector R and source L has a non- return valve 11 to allow air inside the lamp to escape. The source L is secured against flange 2 using a spring 6 whilst the valve 11 is located in a resilient plastics housing 10. In an alternative embodiment (Figs. 2 and 3, not shown), the housing 10 is formed in such a way that there is a lip-valve (20) where the wire 12 comes through the housing. It is stated that the valve may be mounted on the lens or reflector.
