Abstract

1,221,002. Catamenial garments. R. E. ZIMMER. 7 Nov., 1968 [27 Nov., 1967], No. 52862/68. Heading A5R. A sanitary panty P has a strip of "Velcro" tape 12 sewn in its crotch portion so that it may engage a napkin 16 having a complimentary strip of "Velcro" tape 18 attached thereto. In alternative embodiments the panty P and the napkin may be joined by two (Figure 4) or four (Figure 5) cooperating strips of "Velcro" tape. The sanitary panty P could also be used in combination with a napkin having a soft fibrous surface but not provided with a complimentary strip of "Velcro" tape. ("Velcro" is a registered Trade Mark).
