The curable elastomer provided by Specifications 1,193,301, 1,193,734, 1,195,565 and 1,196,566 is comminuted to a predetermined size, mixed with a hydrocarbon rubber and curing agent, and the mixture is subjected to heat to vulcanize the rubber and cross-link and harden the curable elastomer.
