Abstract

1,216,292. Roof drainage. KONTEKA OY. 24 Feb., 1969, No. 9749/69. Heading E1C. A rainwater outlet for, e.g. a roof, comprises a trough 2 to which a down pipe 3 is connected and a cover 7 fastened over the inlet to the down pipe. The cover may have a perforated wall 8, or consist simply of a flat plate (10), Fig. 3 (not shown). The cover 7 is larger in plan than the opening to the down-pipe, is imperforate, and is situated below the top of the trough to promote .radial flow into said inlet.
