1,214,890. Extrusion dies. SAIAG S.p.A. INDUSTRIA ARTICOLI GOMMA. 29 Nov., 1968 [22 Dec., 1967], No. 56645/68. Heading B5A. [Also in Dvisions E1-E2] An extrusion die for extruding a strip having two sections bonded integrally together by extrusion as indicated in Figs. 1-3 (not shown) comprises two separate cup-shaped inlet members 20, 22 one disposed within the other with their bottom walls in contact and preferably relatively located by pins and sockets 22A in their bottom walls, an extrusion passage 26 extending from the inside of the inner member 22 to the outside through both bottom walls, an extrusion passage 32 extending from the inside of the cup 20 to the outside through the bottom wall of the cup 20 and including a passage section 32A, Fig. 4, communicating with the extrusion pasage 26. The bottom of the member 22 is recessed as at 36 all around the root of a finger 34 attached to the bottom of cup member 22 to form the passage 32 which thus communicates throughout its circumference with the interior of outer cup 20.
