Abstract
1,213,808. Photographic processing. EASTMAN KODAK CO. Dec.21, 1967 [Dec.28, 1966], No. 58062/67. Heading G2C. Solid compacted material for preparing aqueous silver halide processing solutions are composed of (i) particles of a silver halide nucleating compound having at least one B atom per molecule, and (ii) a water-soluble carrier which is inert to (i). Preferably the material is in tablet form and contains (i) an ionic boron hydride, a BH 3 complex with an organic N, P, As or Sb compound or a borazine, and (ii) an alkali metal phosphate, carbonate, sulphite, halide or tartrate, a sugar or a polyoxyethylene. The tablets and/ or solutions prepared therefrom may also contain other processing agents. The processing solutions obviate the need for a reversal exposure in colour processing.
