Abstract

1,213,567. Helmet visors. STADIUM Ltd. 28 July, 1969 [5 Aug., 1968], No. 37330/68. Heading A3V. A helmet visor comprises a curved transparent screen 1 pivotally attached by drop brackets 6 to a stainless steel head band 2, the head band being adapted to be fastened to a helmet by press-studs 3a, 3b and 3c, the outer two of which are slidable in slots 4, and the width of the head band between the slots being reduced to provide greater flexibility than elsewhere to enable the head band to conform to the contours of the helmet.
