Abstract

1,213,463. Electric motors. NIPPON ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. 14 Dec., 1967 [28 Dec., 1966], No. 56882/67. Heading H2A. The stator of a D.C. motor comprises two parts 3, 4 which are cut away at the edges to locate permanent magnets 1, 2, disposed in the same sense, and also have pole faces 16, 17 shaped to provide a substantially elliptical bore for a cylindrical rotor 7. The rotor 7 has limited angular movement and carries coils 8, 9 and is subjected to a uniform magnetic flux density. The motor is used to drive a pin in an automatic graphic information receiver.
