Abstract

121,338. Elliott, B. W. Dec. 11, 1917. Load, depositing.-A shell &c. to be raised by the lever d is transported by a sack barrow up the incline f and deposited with its axis vertical on the shelf h of a cradle e which can roll to the position shown in Fig. 1 to deliver the shell on to a turntable k carried by the end of the lever. The cradle may be held in the position shown in Fig. 2 by a locking member l which is released by a striking bar l<1> and pedal l<2>. The axle and cross bar of the barrow may be engaged by a loading tongue g<1> for facilitating the transfer of the shell to the shelf h.
