A frame work for a table, chair, show case or stand comprises elongated members B1 connected together by right angled members A providing rectangular spigots which fit into the tubular ends of the elongated members B1, and one wall 11 of a tubular end is longer than the opposite wall to provide a leading edge 14 which abuts an edge of a wall 4 of a leg to which the right angled member A is welded.
