[Also in Divisions B1-B2] A nut 17, threaded both externally and internally, screws on to threads 16 formed on a stem 12 of U- or V-section, to whose other end is welded a disc 14. The arrangement supports a stack of washers 13 or a helical coil on the stem 12 and forming a filter element. The stem is dieformed, and the parts 12, 14, 17 are brass, nickel, titanium or stainless steel.
