Abstract
1,208,228. Wall shuttering. SYMONS MFG. CO. 10 April, 1969, No. 18543/69. Heading E1S. Braced wall forms are connected in opposed spaced relationship by means of tie rod assemblies, each assembly comprising a tie rod proper 32 (fig. 5) which remain permanently embedded in the concrete, a removable shebolt 33 mounted on each side of the tie rod and a spreader fork 34 mounted in an annular groove 46 on each she-bolt. The load of poured concrete is thus transferred from panels 12 (fig. 1) through vertical studs 14, horizontal studs 18 and workers 16 to the tie rod assemblies, the spreader forks preventing shifting of the workers on the she-bolts.
