[Also in Division A5] Sodium bicarbonate, calcium silicate or monoammonium phosphate is surface-treated with a fluorinated surfactant to produce a dry powder fire extinguishant. The surfactant may be applied in solution in acetone which is: then evaporated (see Examples I, II).
