Abstract

1,206,791. Cleaning by gas jets. SPERRY RAND CORP. 26 Sept., 1967 [22 Nov., 1966], No. 43861/67. Heading A4F. A process for cleaning electric razor head components having hair particles thereon comprises directing against the components a concentrated jet of biocidal gas obtained by venting to atmosphere a handheld container holding a quantity of liquefied biocidal gas under pressure. The container may contain a mixture of a fungicide, such as formaldehyde, and a volatile carrier liquid such as a fluorohydrocarbon or a fluorochlorohydrocarbon. A suitable container and its contents are described in Specification 1,206,792.
