[Also in Division G4] The temperature of an air jet 2 is varied by adjusting the power supply to a resistance heating element 3 to alter the Reynolds number of the flow and thereby varying the pressure at outlet 4 in dependance upon variations in the power supply. The Specification describes a number of different element arrangements and discloses the application of the device to the control of digital and analogue fluid amplifiers.
