Abstract
1,205,589. Electro-deposition of nickel. M & T CHEMICALS Inc. Aug. 23, 1967 [Aug. 25, 1966], No. 21278/70. Divided out of 1, 205, 588. Heading C7B. The subject matter of this Specification is contained in the parent Specification but the claims are concerned with an electro-plating bath suitable for carrying out electro-deposition of a nickel plate, comprising in aqueous solution 1) NiCl2 . 6H2 O 110 g/l- 225 g/ l and 2) sufficient Ni (BF4)2 up to 450 g/l to provide a total of 120 g/l - 169 g/l Ni<++>, together with three different components which are (i) an acetylenic compound or pryidinium compound as primary nickel brightener, (ii) a sulpho-oxygen compound as secondary nickel brightener and (iii) 0À1-0À8 g/l of an additive heterocyclic compound having at least two nitrogen atoms in an otherwise carbocyclic ring structure.
