Abstract
1,204,094. Flavouring tobacco. H.-J. FRÍHLING. 12 March, 1969, No. 12896/69. Heading A2C. The smoke flavour of tobacco is influenced by adding to the unsmoked tobacco a flavouring compound which occurs in the smoke of natural tobacco, the compound being pyrrole, 2-methyl pyrrole and 2- ethyl pyrrole. The compound may be isolated from a tobacco steam distillate.
