A jib for a mobile crane comprises a plurality of sections 3 releasably bolted to one another and being so tapered that alternate sections are insertable one within the other to form two assemblies for transportation. Pulley blocks 5 are adjustable laterally of the jib whereby they are adapted to be mounted on any of the sections 3, the pulley blocks comprising sleevelike end parts in which cross-supports are telescopically displaceable.
