Abstract

1,200,140. Cosmetic dispenser. CHANDOR S.A. 23 May, 1968 [24 May, 1967], No. 24646/68. Heading B8D. A cosmetic dispenser comprises a hollow holder 1 and a replaceable discardable refill container 2 holding the cosmetic preparation. A removal acrew-in base 7 having a central projection 8 serves to hold the container 2 firmly in position by pressing it against an internal shoulder 9. A synthetic plastics material screw cap 10 may be provided to enclose the cap 3 of the inner container. In use the container 2 is inserted in the holder 1 via the base. The screw cap 10 is removed, the cap 3 cut off and the dispenser squeezed to express the contents. The outer holder 1 may be made of an elastically flexible synthetic plastics material, e.g. high- or low-pressure polyethylene, a polypropylene, a copolymer or a rubber-like material.
