Abstract
1299825 Two part couplings ITT INDUSTRIES Inc 27 May 1971 [1 June 1970] 17513/71 Heading H2E A connector 20 having a terminal portion 22 formed with an integral crimping ferrule portion 21 has the ferrule portion covered in insulation material 23 such as polyvinyl chloride or nylon which material is between 0À014 and 0À045 inch in thickness. A second layer of thinner insulation material 25, 0À0005 to 0À005 inch in thickness, which may be heat shrinkable, is placed over at least the terminal portion 22 and may also extend over the first insulation material 23 covering the crimping ferrule 21. This second insulation material may be of a polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate.
