Abstract

1295877 Synthetic resin compositions TOHO KAGAKU KOGYO KK 5 Dec 1969 [6 Dec 1968] 59484/69 Heading C3P [Also in Divisions B1 and C2] Surface-active organoboron compounds containing a group and a RCOO group, R being a C 7 -C 21 group (see Division C2), are used as anti-static and heat-resistant agents for resins. In examples, (i) methyl methacrylate is polymerized in the presence of a mixture of compounds containing C 17 H 35 groups as R, and (ii) polyvinyl chloride resin compositions include a compound containing a C 11 H 23 group as R, optionally in admixture with a cationic antistatic agent and a tin stabilizer.
