Abstract
1295346 Refrigerating FRIAC 10 Feb 1970 [13 Feb 1969] 6397/70 Heading F4H In a vapour compression refrigeration system, the upper part 2 of a liquid separator is connected to the evaporator 1 and compressor 4 by pipes 8, while the lower part 3 of the liquid separator is connected to the compressor through an evaporator 11. The evaporator 11 may be preceded by a filter 9 and a capillary tube 10. The expansion device in the main circuit may be a capillary tube 7 and a drier 6 may be included. The arrangement ensures that no oil collects in the separator.
