1294254 Making centrifugal fans JAMES CHRISTIE & SONS Ltd 15 June 1971 27911/71 Heading B3A [Also in Divisions F1 and F2] A combined fabricated pulley and fan unit, for a motor-vehicle alternator, is constructed from two annular sheet-metal discs 1, 2, each formed as a pulley cheek, the latter disc 2 additionally being formed with fan blades 4, 5, the discs 1, 2 being spot-welded at 8, (12), (Fig. 3, not shown) to a flange 11 of a centre mounting boss 3 the bore 13 of which may be plain, as shown, or formed with a keyway.
