Abstract

1292277 Ventilating roof CHRYSLER UNITED KINGDOM Ltd 5 Nov 1969 [12 Nov 1968] 53656/68 Heading B7B A motor vehicle having a rear door 10 hinged about a horizontal axis has a transverse member extending along the inside of the rearward part of the roof enclosing a space therewith, the transverse member having an air inlet 17 for the space opening into the interior of the body and the roof having an outlet opening 18 for the space which is located in a part of the roof disposed forwardly of the upper edge of the rear door. The inlet opening may have a non-return valve to permit flow of air in a direction from the interior of the body, Fig. 6 (not shown).
