Abstract

1292004 Photographic processing apparatus AGFA-GEVAERT A G 13 Jan 1970 [17 Jan 1969] 1576/70 Heading G2A Processing apparatus, e.g. for etching and subsequently washing printing films has tanks 2, 3 arranged one above the other through which the film can pass in turn, the base of at least one of the tanks being curved in the direction of advance of the film through the tank, an inlet 11a, a pair of flexible rollers 6, 7 adjacent the end of the tank opposite its inlet for engaging a film that has passed through the tank, deflecting means 5a, 5b for guiding the film to an adjacent tank, and a further pair of flexible rollers 8, 9 arranged to draw the film through the adjacent tank to an outlet 11b the film passing through adjacent tanks in opposite direction, a second inlet 11c allowing a film to be inserted directly into the adjacent tank. The roof of the one tank forms the floor of the adjacent tank, and an apertured guide surface 4 is provided in the adjacent tank.
