1291115 Container ships UNITED KING- DOM ATOMIC ENERGY AUTHORITY 27 May 1970 [8 May 1969] 23625/69 Heading B7A [Also in Division B8] A container ship is provided on each deck with longitudinally and laterally extending endless conveyers 2 (see Division B8) each supported on an air cushion and each being pervious to permit the passage therethrough of air from the belt supporting air cushion to form a carrier supporting air cushion above the belt. The carriers 9 have rigid peripheral skirts 10 to retain the carrier supporting air cushion.
